After the incident with the lightbulbs I wrote about last time, a friend told me about something called a lightbulb changing stick. It is a wonderful contraption, an expandable pole with a three-prong padded clasp on one end. You simply reach up and surround the burned-out bulb with the clasp. It grips the bulb while you loosen it. In case the bulb breaks, there is a plastic shield to protect your eyes from glass shards. Place the new bulb in the clasp and tighten. This device is a brilliant adaptation. We, who need to be independent, can find ways to adapt to this strange new world. You can find your way. Peace.
